What we offer
What is e-Learning?
At UNIMAS, e-Learning is a key initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. It serves as a support system to foster academic excellence and innovation in education.

UNIMAS LMS
The Learning Technology Unit (formerly e-Learning Unit) was established in February 2002 under the Centre for Applied Learning and Multimedia (CALM). On 1 January 2025, CALM was restructured, and the unit now operates under the Centre for Flexible Learning (CFlex).
UNIMAS adopts a blended learning approach, integrating face-to-face and online learning to enhance teaching and learning. Lecturers deliver structured lessons in class and provide supplementary materials online. This is supported by audio-visual technology in lecture rooms and eLEAP (eLearning Enrichment and Advancement Platform), the university’s Learning Management System (LMS) designed for interactive online learning.

eLEAP is UNIMAS’ official learning management system,
designed to streamline and enhance online learning. It empowers lecturers to manage courses efficiently, deliver learning materials, assign tasks, and monitor student progress—all in one platform. With integrated tools like Turnitin, eLEAP ensures seamless access, academic integrity, and an engaging digital learning experience.
